Stone Hedge Inn

The Stone Hedge Inn is located on a 28 acre estate just three miles from the center of Tryon, North Carolina, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The Inn property includes the Main House, a Guest House and a poolside Cottage, all surrounded by gardens, rolling meadows and wooded walks. Each building is a unique fieldstone structure exhibiting the character of its 1930s vintage architecture.

Guest accommodations appeal equally to the Romantic, the Traveler and the Business Person. The six rooms found in three separate old stone buildings are large with sitting areas, private bath, cable television and private telephone. Two of the rooms possess rich pine paneling and a fireplace for a rustic feel. The rooms in the main house have antique furniture for a more formal atmosphere.

Breakfast is served in a dining room where large picture windows afford stunning mountain views. After sunset the tables are illuminated with candles in crystal globes and the ambiance is romantic. The dinner menu is an eclectic mix of contemporary specials and traditional favorites all prepared to order from the freshest ingredients.
